Can we tempt you to travel ten miles south from Luxembourg Gare for the joint informal social event with Oxford this summer? Come for cremant and Pimms in the walled garden of the Schuman family farm on Saturday July 4th, starting at 2.30 pm and relax at the barbecue later in the afternoon. In between take your chance to try your hand at cricket with your fellow-Cantabrigians as we face the Oxford foe in a very friendly game on the Schuman Oval. All are welcome, the whole family! (there will be ten year olds and near sixty year olds) and the equipment will be provided. If you really don’t feel you can take part in the game please come to watch and share the views of Preisch Chateau, the red kites in the (hopefully) blue sky, the oak trees, and the horses – and to cheer on Cambridge, of course!
So that we are aware of numbers, please let me know at secretary@cambridge.lu, with a copy to Adrian Wykes, adrian.wykes@education.lu
Address for the event: 14 rue Principale, Évrange. Please note that the photographs below are authentic, it is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon!
