Thursday 18th June saw a genial and varied mix of thirteen or so society members dining on the terrace at the Brasserie Schuman next to the National Theatre, surrounded by parasol-laden champagne stands peopled with sunny office-swillers at their evening leisure. Later on a hardy crew sought shelter inside from the wind (it was not the sort of chaleur we enjoyed for most of the summer) and continued the social vivacity until 11 p.m.! Many thanks to all who came along for a most enjoyable evening.
