Michaelmas Dinner, 15 November, 2017


Dear Cantabrigians!

We are pleased to invite you and your partner to the annual Michaelmas Dinner to be held at :

Cercle Munster

5-7, rue Munster


Wednesday, 15th November 2017

Drinks and petits feuilletés will be served from 19h00

Dress is formal (black-tie) and gowns may be worn if you so wish.

The menu choices are as follows:

Menu 1:

Betteraves confites en papillote et flétan fumé

Joue de boeuf braisé au Pinot noir et mousseline de pommes de terre

Poire Belle Hélène aux airelles

Menu 2:

Œuf friand, haricots verts et poitrine de porc fumée croustillante

Dorade sébaste, coulis de tomates, champignons et pâtes à l’encre de seiche

Tarte aux coings et crème d’amandes

All to be accompanied by fine wines, and followed by coffee with petit fours after dinner.

In case you would prefer a vegetarian menu, or in case of any special dietary requirements, please just drop Rakesh an email (see address below) so that we can work out something suitable.

For members who have paid their annual membership fees for 2017, the costs for the evening are as follows:

Menu 1 – €49 (for any attending non-members €59);

Menu 2 – €52 (for any attending non-members €62).

If you wish to join us in what is one of the most significant and enjoyable events in the Society’s calendar please reply to rakeshbhana@cantab.net  by latest 30th October giving the name(s) of who will be coming and indicating the choice of menu(s).
