CSoL: A splendid Michaelmas Dinner at the Cercle Münster

Thirty five alumni and guests assembled at the Cercle Münster on Wednesday, 2 December for the Society’s annual Michaelmas Dinner. Excellent food and wines – great menu choice, Rakesh, thanks! – and superb company. Everyone in their best bib and tucker, including scarlet-lined gowns for some. We were very pleased that Alice Walpole, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Luxembourg and a distinguished alumna, was with us, for the last time before she leaves Luxembourg to take up new duties elsewhere. We wish her well, and thank her for the outstanding support she has given to the Society during her stay here. Martin, our Chairman, entertained us with his review of the year, and we finished off a delightful evening with coffee/tea in the splendid library of the Cercle Münster.
