A small group of members met on the Place de la Constitution under the Gëlle Fra to enjoy a seasonal mug of Glühwein. Fortunately we had a break in the wet weather, and we had a chilly but clear evening, just what you want for glühwein!

Léonie de Jonge, a PhD student in Politics and International Studies at Pembroke College has informed us about a Formal dinner that was organised recently at Pembroke College by students from Luxembourg studying in Cambridge. Eleven of them were there and had a great time. They were pleased to fill the Graduate Parlour with Luxembourgish!
Most of the students were graduates. They are working on fascinating topics ranging from Physics to Chinese studies.
We are thinking of organising an event in Luxembourg later this year when Luxembourg students from Cambridge can present to the members of the Society the subjects of their research. Such an event is sure to be most interesting.
Thank you Léonie!!
